Hello, I'm Erin Monty, an LA-based surface pattern designer & illustrator, working to offer a plethora of prints for apparel, home textiles, stationery and anything else with a surface. I've been designing and illustrating for over 20 years, working both in-house and freelance for large companies and small. All of my work is hand-drawn — sometimes on paper, sometimes digitally and oftentimes both.

Why Frugivore? Bold and juicy, sweet with a crunch, red all the way through. Frugivores feed on that. They have big salivary glands and spread seeds dispersing MORE fruit wherever they go. Frugivore Studio's mascot is the classic fruit bat, but there are a cast of characters in our corner. From the African bush elephant to the three-toed sloth and giant tortoise. My mission is to embody these core characteristics — to spread color, joy, deliciousness, and to sometimes serve it upside down.
